Winners of the inaugural Cyberport University Partnership Programme (“CUPP”)

Back to 新聞We are pleased to announce that The University of Hong Kong has 3 teams (Asset Plus, Credit Chest and HandsonMe) each awarded a HK$100,000 cash prize and an interview for the Cyberport Innovation Program at the Cyberport University Partnership Programme (CUPP) Demo Day held on 17 November 2015.
The 10 winning teams were selected from a pool of 18 teams from 5 universities. All teams presented their ideas and business models on the Demo Day during the Global Entrepreneurship Week China – Hong Kong at Cyberport. HKU had 6 teams participated in the competition and 3 of them won the prizes.
Company name: Asset Plus
Project: An automatic and personalised service that helps users to boost MPF return potential.
Company name: Credit Chest
Project: A unique platform that allows customers to purchase store credit with loose change. By rounding up the change to a round figure, the loyalty programme encourages customers to return with store credit in hand.
Company name: HandsonMe
Project: A mobile application that allows people to invest in Instagram and online shops selling handmade products.
