In this TTO Tech Talk, we are honoured to have Prof. Huang Mingxing from the Department of Mechanical Engineering at the University of Hong Kong to be our speaker. Prof. Huang elucidated how he and his team made ultrastrong steel tough by grain-boundary delamination. Reflecting on his fruitful research journey, he remarked, “If you go to very deep fundamental, you can also get a very good science out of a very old and traditional material.”
